Weekly Book Blog Memes (Around the Web)

Many of these are well known, but I have included lesser known memes as well. For revolving topics, I tried to only show blogs that list upcoming week topics and did not require a goodreads/facebook acocount.

Descriptions are from the site. Please let me know if there are memes I missed and, in the case that I listed your meme and you want me to take it down, please tell me. Also, please tell me if some of these are discontinued. The reason I am posting this is because some sites have great lists, but have so many discontinued memes listed that it wasn’t worth sorting through

Meme First Line Fridays @ Wandering Words
What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines? If you want to make your own post, pick a book off your shelf and open to the first page. Copy the first few lines to capture the reader’s attention (but don’t give anything else away just yet). 1. Great post! It’s so neat to see which memes are around and even have them listed by day of the week. I only participate in the Sunday Post and the My To-Be Read List meme by Michelle from Because Reading is Better Than Real Life, I think you didn’t list that one.

I’ll have to keep this post in mind if I ever am looking for a new meme to join. Very handy!
